"The Guardian Angel!"
"Love, like truth and beauty, is concrete. Love is not fundamentally a sweet feeling; not, at heart, a matter of sentiment, attachment, or being "drawn toward." Love is active, effective, a matter of making reciprocal and mutually beneficial relation with one's friends and enemies. " Carter Heyward
This month is all about getting things done. Avoid making any sudden last minute decisions and give yourself time to consider the options and think about what you really want to do.
August is a simple month without too much change happening but rather things getting done and great sense of accomplishments to be had. If you've been putting off something August is a good time to come back to it.
This month's energies will create options on many levels and also opportunities to learn some important lessons and challenge troublesome issues you may be having about your health and well-being.
We realise life is what we make of it and there are no quick fixes to some things, they must be worked through. In regards to money energy this month there is a good opportunity to make more money through a current arrangement at work or a new opportunity!
Those of us have big family ties August is a good time to start planning for Christmas, as this year everyone will want to host lunch at their place unless you take turns! This could be chaos. For the rest of us, it's a good time to make the shopping list and started tucking away small amounts for the holidays.
It's a lovely month to become accomplished, stabilise that which matters to you the most and get organised too. Get used to what you need to do and see with new eyes and simply start doing it. Don't let others put you off. You know what you need to do.
Take advantage of opportunities which may come around this month, there are great rewards to be had in all areas of life.

Which colour do I need?
Colour has an every day influence and affect, which is why most popular shades of off whites and beiges, which are neutral are chosen when painting walls. These colours are neither attention screaming or demanding, and you can mix and match almost every other colour alongside them so, if you want a red sofa, a green table or a blue fish stand, all the colours go well together. Colours which scream attention are less favourable because for the most part colours provoke moods and emotions.

Different colours evoke different feelings. I have mostly shades of honey, brown, pink and green in my home, and have used shades of blue, black and grey in medium selected objects and finally shades of purple, red and yellow in smaller objects although in my vase I like to keep flowers of all the colours. I prefer softer tones in all of the colours. I adore white with anything especially in bedding and towels.
Commonly favoured are blue and pink, then earthy tones, brown and green, finally blue and yellow. Most people choose either black or white for clothing as these go with almost any other colour. With all the creativity and growth, it's no wonder green and yellow have become more popular in recent times.
Each colour contains it's own mood and inspires accordingly, for instance, the colour purple is known as being open minded, sharing and giving. It is also referred to as being the colour of an aura (energy surrounding a person's body) and often associated closely with spirituality because of the powerful collective qualities.
One of the easiest ways to see where your spiritual growth is in need of, is to associate yourself with colours. Take a look at the colours and their meanings and if there are colours which you like to mix together to create different colours take it into consideration as well. The colour or colours you feel an instant affinity toward is the one you are enriched with. The colour or clolours you feel an instant dislike to is the one who are in most need of. Recognizing this colour's qualities, and adding this colour into your every day is very important toward healing and growth.
You don't need to paint your walls, simply adding a candle in that colour and lighting it now and then will make a difference. Your preference toward how you'd like colours surround you is completely up to you. Allow the colours to blend in harmony and create a reflection of the person you and your family members are, even the pets!
Blue - Stability, trust and order, Yellow - Honesty, optimism and imagination, Red - Inner strength, calm and patience, Orange - Expansive, enthusiasm and energy, Green - Vigor, generosity and growth, Purple - Open minded, sharing and giving, Grey - Reliability, practical and warmth, Brown - Simplicity, comfort and changeability, White - Humility, peace and understanding, Black - Love, elegance and nobility, Pink - Surrendered, happiness and hope.by Biljana

Reduce Fat Intake with Lemons
While rarely consumed on their own, lemons make a major contribution to the flavors of many foods we eat especially fish. Although you may not choose this citrus fruit for a snack, you might well squeeze some lemon juice over a fish fillet, add a wedge of lemon to your tea, or grate some flavourful lemon zest into your favorite cookie dough. These flavour-packed fruits are loaded with Vitamin C which is helpful against cold and flu.
Aside from supplying substantial amounts of Vitamin C, the main benefits of lemons relate to their seasoning potential. By adding fresh lemon juice and lemon zest to recipes can reduce the amount of salt needed to enhance the flavors in foods such as rice, potatoes, salads, and cooked vegetables - while adding no fat and negligible calories. By using more lemon you can reduce your salt and fat intake. Lemons keeps well, so you can always have some in the kitchen.
Lemons are harvested year round, these fruits should be firm, glossy, and bright. Beautiful enough to be treated as ornaments for your kitchen! Lemons should be a very bright yellow, not greenish. A very coarse exterior may indicate an excessively thick skin, which in turn may mean less flesh and juice, large lemons are likely to be thick skinned; heavy fruits with fine-grained skin are juiciest. Avoid both hard, shriveled lemons as well as spongy, soft ones.
To get the most juice from a lemon, the fruit should be at room temperature or warmer or place it in hot water or a low oven for a few minutes to warm it, even microwave it for 15 to 30 seconds. Then roll the fruit under your palm on the kitchen bench until it feels softened. There are lots of gadgets for juicing citrus fruits. Juicers onto which you press the fruit, reamers you twist into the fruit but it's simplest to halve the fruit and squeeze it in your hand, using your fingers to hold back the seeds.
If you don't need all the juice at once, you can pierce the fruit with a toothpick and squeeze the juice from the opening then reseal the fruit by reinserting the toothpick. In one medium lemon, calories are at 22, the total fat is around 0.3. g Monosaturated and saturated fat is nil, with the polyunsaturated fat 0.1 g Dietary fiber is 5.1 g and, protein 1.g Carbohydrate is at 12 grams and the cholesterol a lovely 0! The sodium is 3 mg and the Vitamin C, which has already been mentioned is at a handsome 83 mg.

A man walking downtown to his lunch appointment hears a voice that says, "Stop!" "Stand still!" "If you take one more step, a brick will fall down right on your head and kill you."
The man stops and suddenly a brick falls right in front of him. The man is astonished as to what just happened.
He continues on, and as he is going to cross the street, once again he hears the voice shout, "Stop!" "Stand still!" "If you take one more step a car will run you over and you will die."
The man did as he was instructed, moments later a car came recklessly around the corner, barely missing him.
The man asks, "Where are you and who are you?"
"I am your guardian angel," the voice answers.
"Yeah right," the man says. "And where were you when I got married?"
