Balance

It is not uncommon that each of us doesn't know a single individual that has complete balance and harmony in their life. We all have an area in our life which identifies with the miscellaneous drawer. The place where a little bit of this and a little bit of that belongs. Individuals who aim to achieve a perfect balance in their lives may find it quite a difficult challenge and at times it may seem like a mission impossible.
Whenever we use the word perfect we tend to think of picture perfect, crystal clear or just right, in other words the impossible. The individual who likes to create comfort instead of perfection finds balance comes a lot easier, as with harmony, simply because we think comfort not perfect.
When our daily routines become lopsided our energy levels can drop and when this happens we tend to believe there simply isn't enough time in the day and easily create a cycle of time limitation chaos. Things can happen or change in our routine's in any given day, whereby the next few days, weeks or even months could be effected.
Having balance is important but remembering that things can change quite often, as they do is beneficial to our well-being. We can become better adjusted individuals and teach ourselves to cope better in our everyday. When we begin to feel overwhelmed by our responsibilities most of us decide to wait for the situation to get better, change or go back to the way it was, it may, or may not and sooner or later we become unhappy.
We can choose to re-organise our routines to better suit our situation. It can be as easy as sitting back comfortably with a cuppa and something to write on. We can effortlessly do a lot by writing out a new plan, schedule or routine which will bring about more balance for us. As we are thinking of all the things we are going to organise, it will be abundantly helpful if we hold the intention that we are in fact going to sort this mess out and we will have a healthy balance.
Balance is ultimately understanding that our day will be what we make of it and our day can change as quickly as our thoughts do. In between every difficulty is the opportunity and each moment is important. It affects the whole. Our everyday life can be a succession of these moments.
Sometimes the harder the challenge, the more rewarding the result will be. What we obtain too easily, we value too lightly. Love the moment. We can gather strength from our challenges and grow brave by reflection. Whatever we may do, we need courage and self-determination.
"If you haven't all the things you want, be grateful for the things you don't have that you wouldn't want" - axiom
Whatever we may decide upon, there is always something to discover and learn about ourselves, and why we choose to do the things that we do. There may be difficulties arising that tempt us to believe we will never have a happy medium, a contentedness or balance in our everyday. To write out a plan, a guide or an idea of action and follow it, as it may change, requires perseverance and courage.
